Job Title: Health Improvement Co-ordinator, Public Health Systems Integration
Location: County Hall, Hertford & Farnham House, Stevenage
Salary Range: £35,745 pa progressing to £39,880 pa
Hours: 37 per week
The Hertfordshire Public Health Team is recruiting to an exciting new role within the Adult Health Improvement Team to support the development of integrated health and wellbeing services across Hertfordshire. You will work in partnership with a range of teams and organisations to make a significant contribution to improving the quality of services for Hertfordshire residents.
You will report to the Health Improvement Lead for Public Health systems integration and the focus of your work will be developing our health and wellbeing education and training offer, developing our wellbeing support resource/directory and supporting our healthy hubs initiative. This will require you to be able to work on several projects, simultaneously, so you will be familiar with project management principles, as well as confident to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, because you’ll be writing reports and giving presentations. You will need to build excellent relations with multiple organisations and have the ability to influence ways of working to reach common goals. You will be a competent user of Microsoft Office applications.
We’re looking for someone with knowledge of the principles and practice of public health, and with a good understanding of the importance of education and training, and communications and a strong commitment to promoting health lifestyles.
