Adult Safeguarding Quality & Development Manager

We are looking for a Registered Social Worker, Nurse or Occupational Therapist with significant and varied post qualification relevant experience, and demonstrable evidence of both recent strategic and operational management responsibility in an Adult safeguarding context. You will preferably have, or be willing to work towards, a management qualification.
Suitable candidates will require excellent knowledge of Sec 42-47 of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Human Rights legislation and will need to be comfortable with the Mental Health Act and other legal interfaces, as well as having good knowledge around the roles, responsibilities, Duties and Powers of other organisations around safeguarding. You will have experience of working in other relevant settings such as Health, Mental Health Services or Provider services and have experience of quality assuring case work, coaching, mentoring, or training others in relation to safeguarding.
You will be a team player, confident and assertive, have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with partners, with an ability to think flexibly and creatively in a solution focused way. You will be experienced in working in a fast-paced environment and able to balance competing priorities for yourself and the team.
An enhanced DBS clearance and access to own transport will be required.
