About the role
Little Horsted is a successful small rural school situated just off the A26 near Uckfield
The Governors are seeking to appoint a committed, inspirational, innovative and experienced Individual Needs Assistant to work in Key Stage 1 Monday to Friday 8.35am until 3.25pm, starting ASAP (the salary for this role is dependant on experience). We would also consider applicants looking for a part time role that would be able to work every morning.
They are looking for a person who has a good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and experience of working with children within that age range. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with children with SEND and will be able to demonstrate flexibility, enthusiasm, resilience, and a commitment to ensuring every child succeeds. Prospective candidates should have a level 2 qualification or above/relevant experience and a good working knowledge of child protection, safeguarding procedures and policies that are essential in an education setting.
In addition to this role we also require the successful candidate to cover lunchtime duty as a Midday Supervisory Assistant (the salary for this role is Single Status 1).
