About the role
SS7, Point 18-19 (£22,299 – £22,944 pro rata),

Bourne Primary is a two-form entry school located in Eastbourne town centre, currently with 453 pupils on roll. The Bursar is an integral member of the school’s office team and is responsible for the management of the school’s financial accounting. The role works closely with the School Business Manager.
Are you someone who has:
- A sound knowledge of budget management and accounting techniques
- Experience of account reconciliation
- Experience of producing a variety of financial reports
- Experience of working within schools in a similar role would be an advantage as would experience of working with FMS.
- Ability to work independently demonstrating initiative and productivity and be a team player
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, School Governors, ESCC Officers and suppliers
