We are recruiting for an experienced HR Business Partner to work in an ambitious, diverse, and exciting London Borough, who can develop innovative ways to build our communities and transform our Council.
Your role will be strategic, in terms of working with Directors and senior managers to help shape and influence the direction of travel for the directorate, developing people plans that will deliver against the needs of today and in the future, in alignment with the Corporate Plan. Activities will include workforce planning, organisational change projects including and service re-designs, TUPE transfers, job role design, talent mapping and succession planning and advising on complex employment issues.
You will need to keep abreast of HR/employment related changes and developments to enable you to provide innovative solutions to business problems. Building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships are essential, along with the ability to be flexible, whilst maintaining a high level of professional credibility. You will be CIPD qualified and uphold the Council’s values of collaboration, honesty, excellence and fairness.
You will lead and manage a team of HR Business Consultants, coaching and supporting them to succeed and develop in their HR careers.
There are 2 available positions; 1x Permanent and 1x Fixed term; 12 months.
