This is an exciting opportunity to join our HR Service at Medway Council in a new role of HR Employee Experience Consultant on a one year fixed term contract. The focus of this role will be to work with the HR Business Partner and Principal Social Worker in Children’s Services, taking a strategic approach to recruitment, retention and engagement and transforming the employee experience. You will be responsible for mapping knowledge, skills, and experience across the service, undertaking exit and induction interviews and designing and delivering innovative solutions to support the induction, development, and retention of staff.
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced recruitment specialist with proven experience of leading on employee retention and talent management. You will be CIPD qualified and/or hold a relevant degree. You will work as part of a dedicated team who are passionate about providing an excellent service to Children’s Services.
You will have experience of driving improvement and be experienced in coaching and/or training others. You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and face-to-face.
A proactive attitude together with an ability to analyse and interpret varied information and produce innovative ideas is essential. Previous experience of supporting Children’s Services would be desirable.
