If so Halton’s Health Improvement team have a fantastic opportunity for a senior manager to join the team. Reporting to the Divisional Manager and working alongside key stakeholders, the key responsibilities of the role will include:
Leading in the development and implementation of Health Improvement programmes across a number of specialist areas including diabetes, cancer, weight management and NHS Health checks etc. Managing and monitoring performance and outputs from all agencies involved and evaluating effectiveness.
Promoting public involvement in planning, development, implementation and evaluation of programmes to improve the health and wellbeing of local residents.
Direct line management of Health Improvement staff plus direct supervision and guidance to other staff working across programme areas, development and implementation of relevant structures, systems and operational procedures to ensure smooth running of programmes.
You should have excellent communication skills, a flexible approach to work and prior knowledge and experience of Public Health and Health Improvement services.
