What it's like working in our team...

We are a small team who work closely together and with the wider early years and education and learning teams to make sure we are providing the best support to early years and childcare providers, children, and families in Bracknell Forest. Sometimes the work is challenging however there is also time for finding creative solutions, every day is different and there is a lot of job satisfaction.

You will be supported to carry out the following duties, responsibilities and training...

  • Influence policy and practice through partnership working with Early Years and childcare owners, managers, staff and committee.
  • Contribute to a programme of professional development for early years staff.
  • Support the sustainability and quality of early education and childcare providers.
  • To work in partnership with other local services e.g., Family Hubs, health, voluntary sector organisations supporting children and families to improve outcomes.
  • Maintain personal knowledge of local and national developments pertaining to the role undertaking any CPD as necessary.
