Knowsley Adult Social Care is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Communities Senior Practitioner to join a dynamic local authority which is seeking to transform the way that services are delivered.

Applicants will be will need to be experienced in (or have the ability to) undertake all aspects of care management. You will be required to audit and authorise assessments of need to determine eligibility under the Care Act 2014 and support planning from an asset based approach in order to meet the needs of vulnerable residents.
The Community team has responsibility for long term complex cases (learning/physical Disability, Older People, Court work and Transition).
Applicants will need to be social work qualified and professionally registered as a social worker with Social Work England.
You will be provided with regular supervision and access to an excellent training programme. There are opportunities for more experienced social workers, such as training to become an AMHP or Practice Educator, and enrolment on management and leadership training courses.
