About the role

Your payroll experience means that you know just how important it is for our staff that we get their pay right and on time.  As our Payroll Officer you will lead our small Payroll team in the smooth processing of our monthly payroll, which we do ‘in-house’, and the administration of our pension schemes (Teachers’ Pensions Scheme and Local Government Pension Scheme).  If you’ve not yet had the opportunity to lead your own team, we will support you to develop your skills.

Our successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in processing payroll ‘in house’, as well as experience of pensions administration.  Your knowledge of related legislation and statutory requirements will be up-to-date, and you’ll know it is essential that you have meticulous attention to detail and excellent accuracy skills, as well as the ability to meet deadlines. Experience of using iTrent, our integrated HR and Payroll system and knowledge of our pension schemes are a bonus.

In return, as well as the Trust’s generous benefits, you will be joining a fantastic, highly motivated and friendly People department.
