About the role
Cover Supervisor - The Turing School
This is a permanent post for 37 hours per week, working the 38 weeks plus 5 staff
We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and committed Cover Supervisor to join
our supportive team to provide effective cover supervision across the school.
The successful candidate will administer the cover system, provide effective
management of cover staff and to work as a cover supervisor undertaking whole
class supervision in the absence of the class teacher enabling pre-set work to be
completed. Hours are to be agreed upon appointment.
When not covering classes, the successful candidate will provide support in other
areas of the school, which may include supporting teachers and working with
smaller groups of students.
We are looking for a calm and confident individual who has the skills to be able to
manage classroom activities safely and who can create a positive learning
Previous experience in a similar role using databases and a good standard of
education would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will also be expected to undertake administrative duties,
attend twilights and staff meetings.
