Drawing on a rich heritage dating back to the 18th Century, Stamford Arts Centre is a thriving multi-arts venue that provides the opportunity to experience and participate in a wide selection of art forms from theatre, cinema, music and poetry to sculpture, dance, painting and drawing.
As Venue Manager your role will be instrumental with ensuring the smooth delivery of a diverse and dynamic artistic schedule. In this exciting and fast paced role, you will be the overall manager for a vibrant town centre arts centre and the main point of contact for logistics for performances by key stakeholders.
You will be committed to delivering live events, exhibitions and filmed performances to the highest standards by managing event schedules, contracts, budgets, staff rotas and communicating the operational needs of assigned events to all necessary departments; and undertaking event duty for allocated shows.
As Venue Manager you will be responsible for managing, developing and supporting a diverse team of permanent fulltime and part time staff and will provide leadership in developing interesting casual and volunteer roles across the centre.
Reporting in to the Arts Operations Manager, you will be part of a leadership team supporting and working together to deliver cultural offerings across three venues and the wider South Kesteven community
