Drawing on a rich heritage dating back to the 18th Century, Stamford Arts Centre is a thriving multi-arts venue that provides the opportunity to experience and participate in a wide selection of art forms from theatre, cinema, music and poetry to sculpture, dance, painting and drawing.

As Technician your role will be instrumental with ensuring the smooth delivery of a diverse and dynamic artistic schedule. In this exciting and fast paced role, you will provide key technical expertise for a vibrant town centre arts centre and be a point of contact for logistics for performances by key stakeholders and for delivering regular cinema performances.

You will be committed to delivering the technical knowledge and skills needed to put on live events and films to the highest standards, supporting casual projectionists, ensuring health and safety process are implemented and followed and communicating the operational needs of assigned events to all relevant colleagues; and undertaking event duty for allocated shows.

You will ensure the timely maintenance of all equipment associated with the stage, auditorium, and rehearsal/hire spaces and inspect all installations and equipment to ensure compliance with current legislation and licensing requirements.

Reporting in to the Senior Technician, you will be part of the Stamford Arts Centre technical team supporting and working together to deliver cultural offerings at the arts centre.  You will also work closely with the technical team at the Grantham Guildhall and support external events across the wider South Kesteven community.
