You will lead the development of best practice procurement policies and guidance, undertaking market and supplier analysis to inform procurement activity, it is essential therefore that you have extensive experience of public sector procurement.
You will be responsible for the management of the procurement team so you will need to be able to lead, inspire, motivate, and develop staff to achieve their full potential and ensuring successful delivery of the team’s work programme.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment ensuring the smooth delivery of multiple procurement projects at any given time. This is a hands-on role that requires a pro-active individual who is willing to share their experience and champion a best practice culture with stakeholders that ensures savings are made through innovative procurement and contract management.

Previous experience of developing comprehensive fully compliant tender documentation and evaluation criteria is a necessity.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible individual who thrives on challenge, has a strong desire to continually improve practice, and who can deliver an excellent customer focused service.
