About the role: Based in Gautby Road Play & Community Centre. To assist the Senior Play Worker in the day to day administration and management of the children's play programme and in the supervision of activities relating to children and young people.
Candidates should hold NVQ 2 Qualification in Playwork or equivalent.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate experience of working with children aged 6 - 14 in a play setting communicating with children and parents.
You'll need to be qualified in Playwork or equivalent and have experience working in a play setting.
Your experience should include Experience/Knowledge of Open Access play provision or youth settings.
Understanding the individual developmental needs of vulnerable children and young people.
Managing children's and young people's behaviour in various situations.
You will be looking to improve the way we engage with our employees/residents/customers to ensure they are at the heart of everything we do.
