About The Role

The Council is looking for an enthusiastic and efficient Commissioning Officer to embed and performance manage its relatively new Independent Living Support Service (Domiciliary Care) Framework Agreement. This is important portfolio, as the delivery of high-quality care and support enables Newham's residents to maintain their independence and quality of life in their own home. Your excellent communication skills will be essential to your success in your ability to work as part of the team and develop effective working relationships.

You will have the ability to work in partnership with other colleagues across the Council and CCG, Providers, residents and other stakeholders to re-design services and ensure that outcomes are achieved. The post holder will be required to write and present detailed and well-reasoned reports and business cases for the Adult Social Care Departmental Management Team and other senior boards.
