Croydon Council Public Health is a unique public health team that leads the way in improving the health and wellbeing of Croydon’s residents and reducing health inequalities.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our small, fast paced and agile team on a permanent basis. You will lead and develop the public health intelligence function enabling the council to effectively use data and evidence.

The role will suit someone who has experience of working in population health analysis, and provides an excellent opportunity to develop your analytical and managerial skills. You will have specialised knowledge of statistics and epidemiology with experience to MSc equivalent in epidemiology, public health, statistics or similar, and a strong interest in these subjects. You will work closely with the Consultants in Public Health, Director of Public Health as well as the Corporate Business & Intelligence service, and other departments in order to work in a strategic way within and beyond the council.
