The starting salary for this role is £9.50 per hour, working 30 hours per week.
Meadowside Care Home operates a 24/7 residential service to the elderly. We have a strong team ethic where everyone works together to deliver the best possible service.
We are currently looking for a Housekeeper to assist and support colleagues in the day-to-day provision of services as directed to ensure that support plans are implemented and the needs of people using the service are met. In this role, you will assist in providing a high quality service in accordance with Care Quality Commission standards and current legislation.
You will be covering domestic and cleaning tasks or tasks within the laundry to maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment in any designated part of the premises by following statutory and departmental procedures to ensure Health and Safety standards are maintained.

- Experience of working within a housekeeping environment
- An ability to maintain good hygiene and cleanliness
- Flexibility to cover additional hours as required by the home.

This is a listening exercise, and our overriding priority is the wellbeing of our residents and staff at the homes who we want to involve fully and sensitively in this process. Feedback from this consultation will be collated and considered by Surrey County Council’s Cabinet in Spring 2022.
