The starting salary for this role is £21,943 per annum, working 36 hours per week.
The role will be based predominantly at High Ashurst Outdoor Centre, Mickleham, Dorking Surrey. RH5 6DQ.
The successful applicants will join the delivery team at Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development. You must be a skilled facilitator in delivering outdoor learning, with an ability to adapt your delivery style to meet the needs of the group and their learning outcomes. You will have knowledge in how outdoor learning can benefit all aspects of personal and social development.
You must have previous centre experience and hold NGB qualifications. A current first aid qualification is essential.
We are looking for staff with any of the following awards:
- SPA/CWA/ERCA ropes course instructor
- Archery GB Instructor Award
- MIAS level 2/British Cycling Level 2 Instructor
- A walking / expedition qualification: such as LEL/ML
- D1/PCV minibus licence
- Forest Schools Leader
- British Canoeing Paddlesport Instructor (or equivalent qualification) / Leader
