Domestic Abuse Coordinator
Fixed term post of 12 months or secondment
Starting salary £27,669pa with potential progression to £30,557pa on achieving designated skills and experience

We can’t wait to hear from you. You will be reviewing all internal processes to ensure that policies and procedures are compliant with the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 and that internal and external referral pathways are fit for purpose.
You will lead on the coordination of training and communications in relation to the new Act, the delivery of the council’s Domestic Abuse Action Plan and the coordination of a multi-agency meeting for medium risk victims and repeat victims.
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can work independently and are willing to take initiative where needed. We want individuals who are keen to implement change and who will be enthusiastic to work in collaboration with other services.
We are seeking a confident and outgoing person to work with our partners within Welwyn Hatfield and countywide. The successful candidate will be a great communicator and problem solver, a sound organiser, have experience in partnership working and be committed to fighting against domestic abuse.
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential in this post.
