Elective Home Education Deputy Service Manager
The Teaching and Learning Provision in East Sussex are looking to recruit a qualified teacher with management and multi-agency working experience who understands the diverse range of education theories around Elective Home Education.
The full-time Deputy Service Manager position will have a key responsibility in further developing this rapidly growing area of work to fulfil the Local Authority’s statutory day to day responsibility to ensure (where possible) that children receive a suitable home education.
The post includes line management of a team of 7 elective home education officers, allocating new cases, developing joint working systems with health and social care and overseeing various strategic projects linked to this area of work across East Sussex.
Pay Scale: Soulbury EIP 8 - 11
Hours of work: 37 hours

Base – Eastbourne or Hastings

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
