It is a very exciting time in Knowsley’s IT Service; we have invested heavily in the latest technology including Microsoft 365, VMWARE, Microsoft Server and Cisco networking. Joining an experienced and hardworking team, you will find it an excellent opportunity to grow your career.

The post will primarily be to support the council’s core technical infrastructure including VMWare virtualised servers, Netapp storage & Cisco switching.

We are looking for someone who has experience working within a technical infrastructure team with skills including VMWARE ESXi, Netapp SAN administration, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365 administration and Cisco networking.

Working within a supportive and team with a hybrid home/office working, flexible hours and paid overtime.

Minimum annual leave entitlement of 25 days per year, plus bank holidays. There is also an option to purchase up to a maximum of 10 extra days annual leave

Easily accessible location (15 mins to Liverpool, 30 mins to Manchester by rail), with staff car parking permits available
