Job Title: Land Charges Officer (P1359)
Salary: £22,809 up to £25,117 (pro rata for part-time role) inclusive annual salary + up to 18.5% employer pension contribution
Post: Part-time (21 hours/week), days negotiable
Location: Flexible working options
Annual Leave: 25.5 days up to 28.5 days (pro rota for part time role), plus public bank holidays

Working within a small focused team you will be responsible for updating and maintaining the Local Land Charges Register, processing official property searches submitted by solicitors and validating property data. You will also respond to enquiries in relation to search results from the legal profession.
Education to GCSE level with grades A-C or equivalent. You need to be very computer literate with the ability to learn new systems at a reasonable pace. Exceptional accuracy is required for processing searches as a single mistake can affect a house purchase. Excellent attention to detail is essential. This role can be pressurised at times with a high level of concentration for long periods of time.
Experience of local land charges or working within a local authority is desirable although not essential.
