An exciting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor has become available in our Property and Facilities Management Service.
The successful postholder will assist in the development of a comprehensive framework of procedures to ensure a consistent approach to the effective and efficient management of projects and will support the pursuit of excellence in construction cost management.
You will support the delivery of the Council’s capital works and regeneration programme ensuring effective management of the Council’s resources. This will be achieved by providing construction work cost advice, undertaking work cost estimates at feasibility stage and throughout the design, development, construction, and post construction phases.
We are looking for someone with extensive post qualification experience in the role of Project Quantity Surveyor, who also has experience of projects utilising all major forms of contract, including the JCT and NEC suite of contracts.
Are you proceeding on a course of study towards membership of The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors or other construction relevant professional institution and educated to degree level in a related building construction discipline?
