  • Family Support Team, There are vacancies across the 4 Family Support Teams all based in Hastings Ocean House covering the East geographical area of East Sussex County Council

Working with children up to 11 years the Family Support teams have a rewarding role building relationships with families to reduce risks and support change over time using skills learned and honed by the connected practice models training which underpins the work across the service. This includes direct work, assessments and complex care planning with children subject to child in need, child protection plans and legal proceedings.. 

  • Youth Support Team, Vacancy in East Youth Support Team.

Working in the Youth Support team you will be undertaking direct work and assessments with young people aged from 12-17 years and their families. This rewarding role involves building relationships with young people whose experiences include family disruption, homelessness, exploitation, mental health and non-school attendance. The team is based in Hastings and covers the east of East Sussex County Council.

Newly Qualified Social Workers who have not completed the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment are not invited to apply for these positions.
