About the role
Pre-school Assistant – Required to start January/February 2022 – Hailsham Community College Academy Trust
Hours: 37 hours per week – Term Time – Monday to Thursday - 08.15am to 16.15pm and Friday 8.30am to 16.00pm with a 30 minute unpaid break.
Salary: Single Status Grade 3 point 7 £18,562 per annum (Actual pro-rated salary: £15,938 per annum)
We have an exciting opportunity for a pre-school assistant to join our pre-school which opened in April 2020.
Our brand-new Pre-school is situated in our Primary school and has a large purpose-built space, decorated to achieve a bright atmosphere, with the capabilities for specialist care and a wide range of stimulating activities that suit early years learning. There is also a large secure outdoor space, which is purposefully shared with the reception children. This is to allow for an early years village approach to teaching.
The ideal applicant will have an NVQ2 in Childcare or equivalent with a passion for childcare, supporting children and providing exciting opportunities for learning as they prepare for school. Will be able to work closely with colleagues, to provide a safe, welcoming, purposeful, stimulating and encouraging environment both indoors and outdoors.
