About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within our SEND team, initially supporting a Year 4 child who has ASC. The successful candidate will be part of an experienced team around the child who are supporting his needs.
This role will involve a combination of providing in-class support with 1:1 sessions, working on targets and strategies to continue the progress that has been already been made.
The role is for 1 year in the first instance.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with children with SEND and will be able to demonstrate flexibility, enthusiasm, resilience, and a commitment to ensuring every child succeeds.
An understanding or awareness of the Thrive approach would be an advantage, although training will be provided for the successful candidate.
Given the demanding nature of the role and the need to adapt planning and prepare resources, this role is being offered on a Single Status Grade 4 pay level.
