About the role

Pre-school Manager – Maternity Cover – Required to start February/March 2022 – Hailsham Community College Academy Trust

Hours: 37 hours per week – Term Time – Monday to Thursday 08.15am-16.15pm and Friday 08.15am to 15.45pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. 
Salary: Single Status Grade 8 - £23,598 to £25,487 (Actual pro-rated starting salary: £20,262 per annum
Contract: Maternity cover

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pre-school Manager to cover maternity leave and help manage our new pre-school in its second Year of being open. 

Our brand-new Pre-school is situated in our Primary school and has a large purpose-built space, decorated to achieve a bright atmosphere, with the capabilities for specialist care and a wide range of stimulating activities that suit early years learning. There is also a large secure outdoor space, which is purposefully shared with the reception children. This allows for an early years village approach to teaching.

The ideal applicant will be an experienced Pre-school manager with at least an NVQ3 in Childcare or equivalent with a passion for childcare, supporting children and providing exciting opportunities for learning as they prepare for school. Will be able to work closely with colleagues, to provide a safe, welcoming, purposeful, stimulating and encouraging environment both indoors and outdoors.
