About the role

The Skylark Federation are looking for an After School Club leader to join our welcoming and friendly school at Hamsey. This would be a great opportunity to be part of a popular group of schools that are expanding and we would love to welcome you to our Federation.

The club runs Monday to Thursday per week, in term time from 3pm until 5.30pm.  We are looking for someone:

  • who has excellent interpersonal skills with pupils, staff and parents
  • who is able to enthuse, inspire and safeguard children
  • who is cheerful and reliable
  • who can organise and deliver activities for children between the ages of 4 and 11  in our After School Club.

The role entails:

  • welcoming and registering the children
  • implementing activites and games inside and outside
  • providing the children with refreshments
  • maintaining the resources

 First aid and other training will be provided, as required.

We would consider applicants for some of the days.

Hamsey Primary School is part of the Skylark Federation which offers opportunities to work with the other after school club.  The current hourly rate is £9.81.
