Reporting to our Joint Director for Strategic Business Intelligence and Analytics, you'll hold a key responsibility for our insights function, providing strategic and operational leadership to develop and evolve the county council’s data enabled insights capability into a joint function which advances further integration. This role will be at the centre of encouraging greater innovation that cuts across complex organisational and system boundaries with Surrey Heartlands ICS and wider partnerships. A primary focus will be encouraging and championing the use of advanced data analytics and data science best practice to support a step change in both culture and thinking with partners.
Is this me?
Alongside the specific role person requirements, we are looking for someone who can bring their proven experience and a successful track record of leading analytics and information across a large organisation. You’ll be able to demonstrate developed analytical thinking to suggest innovative solutions and approaches to complex issues. With strong negotiation and influencing skills you’ll inform and shape strategic thinking and decisions with partners, using data and insight to challenge decisions and drive change. You’ll also be able to build positive relationships that engage and connect with key partners across systems, supporting progress against our ambitions within complex policy areas.
