Chelmsford City Council are seeking an adaptable, proactive and dedicated Apprentice to join our Digital Service Desk team.
The successful applicant will have exposure to configuring and troubleshooting IT hardware, software and telephony, whilst gaining valuable Active Directory and 365 Administrator skills, which will assist their Information Communications Technician (ICT) Apprenticeship to becoming a qualified IT Analyst.
Our Apprentices work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive Digital Services department, working to agreed service levels in a hybrid working environment.
The successful applicant will be part of a team that are the first point of contact for customers experiencing IT issues and our support is offered remotely or via in-person desk visits. They will also be responsible for carrying out duties directed by the Support and Finance Lead and DevOps Service Manager, helping them develop their technical resolution skills and being able to own and prioritise a high volume of support call tickets.
Further training opportunities and skills will be obtained with involvement in IT projects, system roll outs and hardware deployments.
