We are seeking a Principal Housing Delivery Officer to join Strategic Housing. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to problem solve, research and develop solutions to help Knowsley effectively deliver it’s housing function.
The post will be based within the Strategic Housing team which is responsible for homelessness, allocations, housing assistance, affordable warmth, affordable homes development and housing intelligence.
The post holder will be responsible for developing housing strategy and policy as well as supporting the operational housing functions which include housing allocation, homelessness and housing renewal.
The successful candidate will have:
- experience of working as part of a team and a track record of working independently to achieve service objectives within agreed timescales.
- a commitment to developing their knowledge and experience to enable them to effectively meet service objectives.
- Educated to degree level and/or an equivalent qualification in housing, or demonstrate suitable professional experience. GCSE Maths & English A-C grade.
