Leisure services are seeking to recruit a number of ready to work leisure advisors across our facilities, whose main task will be to provide front of house customer service, dealing with enquiries, bookings, memberships and general queries.

The successful candidates will be required to work within a busy, exciting environment, carrying out duties related to a front of house role.

The successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a team, showing a desire to help and serve the  public.

A good working knowledge of computer based booking system, selling products and memberships is desirable.

The successful candidates will be expected to work operational shifts which will include evenings and weekends to meet the need of the service.Please note that in accordance with the Council’s policy, employees who are in a formal redeployment situation will be considered in the first instance for all vacancies.

It is Council policy not to re-appoint any employee who has left under the terms of the Council's Early Voluntary Retirement (EVR) scheme or who have left with a voluntary severance (VS) package, unless in exceptional circumstances.
