Your New Role
As a Team Assistant you will have the responsibility of taking calls from clients, client’s associates, professionals and members of the public. You will then be recording those messages with accuracy on the client database and signposting or providing information when necessary.
You will frequently type client’s assessments and other various documents/notes on behalf of practitioners and at times may have to change rough notes into precise documents with the assurance that a professional level of punctuation and grammar is displayed at all times.
You will complete accurate data entries whilst also sourcing data on the Social Care’s specialist client base.
You be recording and manipulating specific data and producing the required statistics upon request.
You will accurately take minutes of team meetings particularly client based meetings, which may at times include sensitive and safeguarding related matters.
You will have the responsibility to ensure all client records meet needs of statutory reporting to the Department of Health as well as in-house business reporting.
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed for this post you will have excellent professional communication skills both written and verbal.
You will prove to be an individual who shows empathy and patience with customers/clients on the phone as well as with queries presented by colleagues.
You will have significant experience of taking professional business calls and where necessary record messages.
You will demonstrate a great understanding of the importance of communicating effectively with vulnerable clients.
You will have experience of using Excel, Word and Outlook with the desire to improve skills within these applications.
You need to have an excellent and thorough understanding of data protection, information governance and GDPR and the ability to deal with sensitive data in an objective and discreet manner.
