HOURS OF WORK: 35 hours per week. Term Time only with 6
additional weeks to be worked in the school holidays. Total paid
weeks per year will be: 49.693 (36.4 weeks of term time, 1 week
of inset, 6.293 weeks of paid holiday entitlement)

We are seeking to appoint an experienced HR Manager capable of
making fundamental contributions to our school’s culture and
development. The successful candidate will be skilled at striking
the balance between the needs of the school and the needs of its
people. You will have an enviable track record in the exceptional
recruitment and retention of high quality staff.
In addition to the administrative tasks of keeping accurate
records, evaluating HR policies and tracking sickness records, you
will be working directly with the Head Teacher, Senior Leadership
Team and Governors to address the strategic needs of the school.
The school was rated good by Ofsted in November 2018 and we
now look to the future to improve and drive standards forward as
our students and staff deserve nothing less.

Starting Salary: Two point salary range starting at point Grade 12
point 32 on the Gildredge House Support Staff Scale for 2021
July 2015
2022: £33467.93 pro rata (£35118 FTE per annum). Rising to Grade 12 point 33 with a current FTE of £36525 per annum.
Contract:35 hours per week, 49.693 weeks per year (includes 36.4 weeks of term-time, I week of inset and 6 additional weeks at other periods with a minimum of 2 weeks to be worked during the summer holidays. There is a generous 6.293 weeks’ paid holiday/bank holidays)
