There is a lot going on in Broxbourne at the moment; we have a new Hollywood style film studio complex being built, the new Brookfield Riverside development is progressing, a new Technology/Business Park is coming soon and the Spotlight venue will be re-opening in the New Year.

Salary; up to £20,000 p.a.

 

An enthusiastic and conscientious secretary is needed to support and assist our most senior managers who are involved in delivering these major projects as well as many other initiatives. The post offers a wide range of development opportunities for the right person while undertaking very interesting work at the centre of the organisation. Typically duties will include:

 

  • Problem solving on a daily basis
  • Composing and drafting responses
  • Dealing with telephone enquiries
  • Typing a variety of documents
  • Processing email communications and correspondence
  • Diary management
  • Recording minutes of meetings
  • Information handling and file management in accordance with the Data Protection Act

 

If you are flexible, with a can-do approach and good IT, communication and organisation skills with the ability to work unsupervised often to tight deadlines, this post could be perfect for you.

 

Applicants must be experienced in Microsoft Office and have GSCEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.

 

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in fluent English is essential in this post.

 

This role requires an enhanced disclosure and barring service check.
