About the role

TA2 & Midday Supervisory Assistant
Post required for maternity leave cover starting January 2022

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced TA2 to join a team of staff committed to supporting all children with high quality teaching and learning! The role also includes working as a play leader to assist with lunch time/playtime.

The role is for a maternity cover fixed term contract with 23.75 hours TA2 and 6.25hrs MDSA totalling 30 hours per week, term time only. The TA role is graded at Single Status Grade 3 and MDSA hours at Single Status Grade 1.

Normal working hours will be:-

Monday to Friday 8.45am until 3.15pm (MDSA hours are within these times)

  • be innovative; creating exciting and engaging learning opportunities;
  • have excellent behaviour management skills;
  • contribute towards raising levels of achievement to ‘Outstanding’
  • support our creative curriculum
  • work in partnership with the staff and with our wider community.

Chantry Community Primary School is a small school with a community feel, situated in Bexhill-on-Sea.
