Hours of work: 17.5 hours per week
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 5.85 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

St John’s Meads CE Primary School is a one form entry school with a distinct Christian ethos. We have strong links with our local Church and community, and are part of a family of schools within a church academy trust (Diocese of Chichester Academy Trust).
This role would suit an experienced Individual Needs Assistant, nursery practitioner, or someone with knowledge and understanding of children with special educational needs (specifically Down's Syndrome). Knowledge of Makaton would be ideal, as would confidence to liaise with staff via email. Hours will be 9:00-12:30. Although this is a fixed term contract, it is anticipated that the need for the role will be ongoing.
