Hours of work: 30 hours per week
Working pattern: Full-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 5.85 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

About the role
Rotherfield Primary School is a thriving, friendly village school looking for an enthusiastic and focused individual to join our hardworking and supportive team.
An opportunity to become an Apprentice Teaching Assistant and After School club Assistant has arisen. This role would suit someone seeking classroom experience, particularly interested in teaching and/or wishing to make a career in Teaching Support or other branches of education.
Duties would include one to one assistance with pupils, assisting in the classroom, providing supervision during breaks and helping in our After School club. The apprenticeship will be made up of practical employment experience whilst having an education programme that will lead on to a nationally recognised qualification (NVQ Level 3). You will learn to work in a school environment supporting the learning and care of students.
The hours are 12 noon to 6pm Monday to Friday.
