Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

About the role
Are you looking for a role which will be rewarding, exciting, and where no two days are the same? Blackboys CEP School (part of the St Thomas á Becket Church of England Federation) a happy and successful Church of England Primary School in Blackboys (near Uckfield), East Sussex is looking for a new member of support staff to carry out three important job roles within our small busy rural school. Ideally the successful applicant will be able to start at the beginning of January 2022.
Teaching Assistant 2 - 25 hours a week SS 3, point 7 £18562 PA, pro rata
You will be working alongside a class teacher (predominately KS2) preparing and undertaking educational support duties; assisting the class teacher in the day to day needs of the pupils in their care; enabling the teacher to implement the curriculum and respond to the pupils' needs, whilst maintaining complete confidentiality on all school matters. 8.45-Midday and 1.30-3.15pm daily (5hrs daily). An interest in school sport and school team games would be advantageous.
MDSA - 5 hours a week SS 1, point 2 £17842 PA, pro rata
To supervise, interact and take care of the children during the lunchtime period both in the school hall while children are eating lunches and in the playground of the school. Midday - 1pm daily, throughout the week (1 hour daily).
Breakfast Club Coordinator - 5 hours a week, SS 6, point 14 £20495 PA, pro rata
To provide safe, high quality play opportunities and care for children; be responsible for the day to day organisation and operation of the club. There is a small number of children for whom a simple breakfast would need to be prepared. 7.45-8.45am daily, throughout the week (1hour daily).
Total hours worked per week = 35
