Class Teacher - The Southfield Trust - The South Downs School
The Southfield Trust are seeking to appoint a committed and inspirational classroom teacher to work alongside our outstanding staff team at The South Downs School delivering high quality educational support to pupils with a range of significant complex needs including autism and PMLD. The post is fixed term for one year.
The South Downs School is an outstanding special school that educates children aged 3 to 11 with an emphasis on developing social interaction and communication skills. There are around 160 pupils on roll. The School is part of the Southfield Multi-academy Special School Trust along with The Lindfield School and Hazel Court School. The Southfield Trust is currently in an exciting phase of development including the opening of a new Free Special School, Summerdown School.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
