About the role

This is an exciting new role with lots of development potential as we seek to expand our staff and implement our new IT strategy.

The role will be supporting the IT team with progressing the organisation’s 5-year IT strategy. We will offer on the job training and there is lots of development potential.  You will be undertaking key systems administration, assisting with standard data reporting, providing basic IT training to staff and ordering IT equipment.

Top Responsibilities 

- You will be logging issues, co-ordinating and processing requests for logins, system changes, keeping I.T. equipment asset register up to date

- Strong working knowledge of Excel with proactive approach to using Excel or similar tools to solve problems creatively

- Undertake system administration within major systems and support staff on their use (e.g. training, writing guides), with the opportunity to develop data analysis skills

Key Requirements 

- Successful candidate will need to have a good understanding of IT security and data protection due to the nature of the role

- Enhanced DBS

Expected working pattern: Monday – Friday 9-5
