The Children and Families Services help to support and protect Portsmouth’s most vulnerable children and young people enabling them to lead safer, healthier and more fulfilling lives. It also acts as the corporate parent for the city’s Looked after Children. The post is working to support the Trauma Informed Model of Care (TIMOC)
Your New Role
You will be supporting the TIMOC model and you will be analysing the toolkit and generating the stats within the model.
You will be liaising with the Lead of TIMOC as well as practitioners, this is to allow them to be able to undertake their duties but specifically be able to provide the TIMOC model to look after children within Portsmouth. You will play a key and vital role in the administration and the smooth running of a busy team and offer administration support in preparation for Ofsted inspections and providing specialist administrative support to the TIMOC Lead.
You will be communicating with people via telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries that relate to TIMOC including the booking of interpreters where necessary.
You will be required to book appointments, supervisions and arrange meetings for TIMOC Lead.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be someone who has high quality administration skills with proven experience of working within an administrative or customer focused role. Experience of working in Children and Family services or equivalent is desirable. You will have great telephone and face to face communication skills and the ability to deal a wide range of callers as well as excellent organisational skills.
