Your role in our journey

 

 

 

As a Project Manager within the Compliance Funding and Performance Service you will ensure that our externally funded programmes and key areas of core delivery demonstrate impact against expected outputs and outcomes, meet performance standards and funder requirements, and evaluate positively against inspection frameworks and quality marks.

 

 

 

You will do this by ensuring programmes are initiated and delivered to specification and fully meet the requirements of the funder in line with statutory guidance and process.  You will work with delivery partners to ensure that project outputs and outcomes are achieved and align strategically as well as operationally. You will ensure programmes are managed within the allocated funding envelope. You will support Managers to deliver, monitor and evaluate activity effectively and efficiently through a range of management information systems, audits, and tools some of which you may be required to develop.

 

 

 

Effective contract management, strong partnership working, provision of quality data, development and implementation of quality standards, and alignment and standardisation of operational systems and processes under the direction of your Group Leader will all be key to your success as a Project Manager.

The role could be undertaken on a secondment basis as it is fixed term to cover secondment until March 2023.

 

 

 

What you’ll need

 

 

 

To join us, you’ll need to be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline and be able to evidence recent professional development in a related area.

 

 

 

You will ideally have knowledge of the Adult Education Budget and European Social Fund employability contracts and how to make statutory returns to all relevant Government departments. 

 

 

 

You will be able to demonstrate experience of managing projects and will have experience of contract management and stakeholder engagement.

 

 

 

Be able to drive positive change.

 

 

 

You will be focused on quality and have knowledge of quality assurance processes and frameworks.

 

 

 

Additionally, you will have excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with a variety of internal and external partners.
