About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the East Sussex Work Experience team to take part in a project, funded by the Careers and Enterprise Company, to support current year 10 pupils to engage with education by supporting them to access work experience placements. Your role will be to support vulnerable learners to identify vocational interests that they are interested in and ensure that they are placed in safe and appropriate work placements. You will provide pre-placement to make sure that they know what to expect from work experience, and work with the employer to ensure that they are properly prepared to support the student on placement. Where possible candidates should have an IOSH qualification, but training will be provided if you do not have this.

Interviews will take place on 7th December via Microsoft Teams.

This role will be required to go into CQC registered care homes to undertake work. Applicants will need to evidence they have had a full course of a recognised COVID-19 vaccine or that they have a medical exemption as part of the pre-employment checks.

This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau). Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
