In this role you will be responsible for delivering a cost effective, modern and responsive car park management service for the Council.    You will lead on policy development, act as the main point of advice and action in relation to the development and management of on and off street parking provision.  You will also provide leadership and direction in relation to parking casework and manage the performance of contracts associated with the delivery of the service.

 

You will have an up to date and detailed knowledge of legislation relating to parking development and management of car parks, as well as a good knowledge and understanding of the developments and challenges facing local government.  You will have proven experience of successfully managing a parking service and of resource/financial management.
