Would you like to be involved in an exciting programme of economic development opportunities that are being developed in the Borough?

We have already secured grant funding of £25m for a Town Deal and £6.5m of Levelling Up Funding and this post involves developing these into full proposals, as well as delivering them.

We have an ambitious economic recovery and growth programme to deliver as well as bidding for further funding to deliver economic activity in the Borough.  The post would provide a great opportunity to be involved in an exciting array of initiatives and major economic development initiatives and managing a team to deliver those.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, and have at least three years’ experience of successful work in economic development, including project delivery.

The Borough of Pendle lies in the heart of Lancashire’s beautiful Pennines and is within easy reach of the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District.
