We’re looking for someone with great people skills along with experience of working in a regulatory or enforcement environment. You’ll join our professional Planning Enforcement Team who are passionate and proactive about their positive contribution to maintaining and enhancing the unique character and environment of the Test Valley.
Your responsibilities in this role will include:
- Monitoring the use and development of land and buildings
- Investigating alleged breaches of planning control
- Preparing and presenting evidence at Inquiries & Courts of Law
- Responding to the public on planning enforcement enquiries
Along with your relevant experience, you’ll need a good standard of education (‘A’ Level or equivalent) and effective communication skills; you’ll know how to build working relationships and when diplomacy and tact are required. We’re proud of how well we work together so you’ll also need to be a great team player who can manage a caseload and provide excellent customer service.
