We have an exciting opportunity for an Engagement and Insight Officer to join Knowsley Council to developing our approach to strategic intelligence and analysis. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on using qualitative research methods to engage with and gather insight from communities working across a diverse range of projects. 

This is a fast paced and challenging role which will include working and leading on Behavioural Insight projects, building relationships and networks with community partners to develop and deliver a programme of community engagement across Knowsley’s communities.

We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic person with outstanding qualitative data analysis skills and experience of working with a wide-range of different services to deliver meaningful information to support decision making.

You will also need to have good ICT skills and be confident in communicating and presenting information and be able to build positive and productive relationships.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and delivery of community engagement across Knowsley's communities.

Lead on the analysis of qualitative evidence.

Work on Behavioural Insights projects 

 

Essential for the Role:

A relevant qualification at degree level, or sufficient relevant experience in a similar type of role

Excellent interpersonal skills 

Confident communicator in person and in writing

Experience of partnership working, reporting and presenting to a range of different audiences

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communications skills

Experience of working directly with local community groups, residents, local businesses and other stakeholders

Experience of qualitative interpretation and analysis within a strategy development context
