Would you enjoy working as part of a waste collection crew?
We are looking to recruit people who are flexible with their time for our casual pool of staff who would be willing to cover our waste collection rounds on an ad-hoc basis within our Neighbourhood Services team working from our modern depot in Whetstone.
Our services operate Monday to Friday from 7am each day.
During busy times we have a need to supplement our permanent workforce with help from casual staff who are happy to work on an ‘as and when’ basis. If this suits you, then please get in touch with us.
You will help to deliver a first class waste collection service to the residents of Blaby District, working as part of a large team of staff. As you will be representing the council out in the district you will need to be helpful and courteous when communicating with the public as well as having a ‘safety first’ attitude.
